Smyths Toys latest campaign brings unexpected play to the Barbie world using a clever mix of real world play and CGI for both TV advertising and their winter 2017 catalogue. Barbie is brought to life through a series of vignettes, each with varying elements of fun and interaction with other characters and their surroundings. Working with marketing and communications agency Oakwood Media Group, our task was to create a series of CGI backgrounds that would seamlessly blend with the stop motion animation of the Barbie characters.
